Just
One Shabbos and we'll all be free
Someday, We
Will All Be Together
Tie me
Yetzer Hora Down, chief
Just one Shabbos, Just one
Torah,
Just one Hashem, who can’t be
seen,
Commandments, He commanded
us,
Six hundred and
thirteen.
How many Fathers, one, two,
three,
How many Mothers,
four,
How many Children, you and
me,
And many millions
more.
(Tune of Just one Shabbos -
MBD)
The Western Wall on Friday night,
First time ever there,
Strapped into his knapsack,
With his long and curly hair,
He stood there for a while,
Broke out with a smile,
Emotion overwhelming, Joy with tears.
The men were dancing there,
Their hearts so full of love,
They sang such happy tunes
To thank the One above
For showing them the way,
For giving them a day,
To rest, rejoice, with peace of mind to pray.
Chorus:
Just one Shabbos,
And we’ll all be free,
Just one Shabbos,
Come and join with me,
Let’s sing and dance to the sky,
With our spirits so high,
We will show them all it’s true,
Let them come and join us too.
I said, “Hello my friend,
You seem to be amused.”
He said, “Much more than that,
I am a bit confused.
I know I am a Jew,
I was Bar Mitzvah too,
But Shabbos in our home,
Who ever knew?”
He asked to join with us
To understand and see,
He spent some time with us
In total ecstasy.
Next Shabbos came along,
His feeling grew so strong,
He first began to feel that he belonged.
He found his treasure,
Made some changes in his life,
A brand new family,
His children and his wife,
They learn new things each day,
To live the Torah way,
The message of the Shabbos, They will relate.
Now, every Friday night,
They go down to the wall,
Invite some people ‘round,
And they will tell them all,
We’ll teach them this new song,
To join and sing along,
Soon we’ll all be free,
It won’t be long.
Don't walk in front of
me
I may not
follow
Don’t walk behind
me
I may not
lead
Just walk beside
me
And be my
friend
And together we will
walk

Hampshire UK 5757 - Colour War, Theme Song (Shluchim)
(Tune
of Tatte - M. Wald)
Life’s
hardships getting unbearable,
All
meaning has faded away,
What’ll
be with our youth and Yiddishkeit,
More
and more, keep going astray.
A
Young Shliach patiently continues to try,
Spreading
light through the dark night,
Knowing
that his sender, is together with him,
Guiding
him, giving him life.
Rebbe,
oy Rebbe,
Rebbe
we need you,
àáéðå
àá äøçîï,
äîøçí, Rebbe, oy Rebbe,
You
surely are helping us,
It’s
visible in all that we do.
We
need you L’matoh,
Commanding
your army,
Bringing
Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
We
need you L’matoh,
Giving
us strength,
àáéðå
àá äøçîï.
Rebbe, oy Rebbe
. . .
Listen listen every Jew
This is what you gotta do
An urgent call from the Rebbe of
Lubavitch
That girls and mothers light
The candles Friday night
And every single day
Men should Teffilin lay
To love every Jew
And teach them what is true
Mezuzos on your doors
And keep the kosher laws
Torah you must study
Buy books that are holy
Don’t forget charity
Family purity
That is when Moshiach’s gonna come
That is when Moshiach’s gonna come
(Tune of The Rebbe’s Simchas
Torah Niggun)
Majestic figure his holiness
shining,
The little Sefer Torah held
above the crowd,
The roar, the thunder of
voices surround him,
Full of joy and
yearning,
How can we make him
proud.
Chorus:
Ve’hu yig’aleinu, we’re driven by a
promise,
A future bright and
clear,
Our Rebbe’s face so
dear,
Driven by the promise of
Ve’hu yig’aleinu.
A figure standing waiting and
watching,
A dirah batachtonim, a garden
full of bloom,
Flowers frozen hidden in
shadows,
The stillness will be
broken,
Oh please Hashem how
soon.
Chorus
M-O-I-S-H-E M-O-U-S-E
Moshe
mouse,
And if you
please
He never mixes meat with any
cheese
Oh! No!
He only eats kosher
food
As Kosher as can
be

My Zaide lived with us in my parents’
home,
He used to laugh, he put me on his
knee.
And he spoke about his life in
Poland,
He spoke, but with a bitter memory.
And he spoke about the soldiers who would beat
him;
They laughed at him, they tore his long black
coat.
And he spoke about a synagogue that they burned down one
day,
And the crying that was heard beneath the
smoke.
But Zaide made us laugh,
Zeide made us sing,
And Zeide made a kiddush Friday
night;
And Zeide, oh, my Zeide,
How I love him so,
And Zeide used to teach me wrong from
right.
His eyes lit up when he would teach me
Torah,
He taught me every line so
carefully.
He spoke about our slavery in
Egypt,
And how G-d took us out to make us
free.
But winter went by,
Summer came along,
I went to camp to run and play.
And when I got back home, They said, “Zaide’s
gone,”
And all his books were packed And stored
away.
I don’t know how or why it came to
be,
It happened slowly over so many
years,
We just stopped being Jewish
like my Zeide was,
And no one cared enough to shed a
tear.
But many winters went by,
And many summers came along,
And now my children sit in front of
me.
And who will be the Zeide of my
children,
Who will be their Zeide, if not me?
Who will be the Zaides of our
children,
Who will be their Zaides, if not
we?
(Tune of Oh Dovid -
JEP)
Expressing my pain and
despair
To thank you for teaching me how
to survive
All the troubles I meet
everywhere
My parents don’t want me to
daven
They tell me to do something
instead
That’s when I tell them the
things that I've learned
Those wonderful things that
you've said
Chazak Ve’ematz, always
remember
Be strong in your trust, not a
pretender
You cannot just take, you also
must give
Only then have you learned how to
live
But my parents don’t
see
That I'm filled with
emotion
And serving Hashem with total
devotion
You’ve cleared all my
doubts
You've answered my
dreams
Now I know what a Jew really
means
I'm laughed at because of my
kippah
My friends make me feel like a
fool
They don't understand why I wear
it all day
Why I don't take it off after
school
At home I make sure we keep
kosher
But few of my friends do the
same
They hide their religion where no
one can see
How I wish they could hear you
explain
Chazak
Ve’ematz…
But so many are lost in a world
of confusion
Their faith isn’t real, just an
illusion
I cry for them all, I pity them
so
For the beautiful things they
don’t know
Oh Mendy, my heart is filled with pain
to whom can I turn
I must have the Rebbe here again
to feel the Rebbe’s smile how I
yearn.
Without his presence and his loving
care
My whole life is emptiness
My thoughts Mendy, with you I must share
to continue seems so meaningless
Chaim my friend, we’re almost at the
end
The Rebbe’s with us as before
Look and you’ll see his Brochos
constantly
Urging us, keep on, do more
And not to fear this great darkness
It can only last a while
Continue in the Rebbes’ footsteps
And you’ll see the Rebbes’ smile
(Tune of Kosel
Ma’arovi)
Oh why, we Jews all cry,
Are things so tough,
We’ve had enough?
We’ve worked and slaved
All through the years,
Oh, when will Hashem wipe away our
tears?
Chorus:
Oh, when will we walk hand in
hand
With Moshiach to the Promised
Land?
Oh, when will we walk hand in
hand
With Moshiach to the Promised
Land?
We’re thrown around
From here to there;
It isn’t fair,
But our faith is strong,
All the Jews are spread apart,
It breaks our hea
but it won’t be for long.
For soon, we will walk…
Soon we’ll hear
A sound that’s near,
Telling us that the time is now.
The sound will be
Eliyahu Hanavi,
And Moshiach will come to
fulfill G-d’s vow.
Chorus:
Old Folks, Young
Folks
Everybody
come;
Come to Gan
Yisroel,
and have a lot of
fun.
Kiss the mezuzah you'll find
hanging on the door,
And you'll hear a lot of
stories
That you've never heard
before.
Adam was the first
man,
And Eve was his
spouse,
In the Garden of Eden
They started keeping house.
Everything was dandy
And merry, on the
main,
Till along came Abel,
And started raising
Cain.
Noah was a carpenter
Who stumbled in the
dark.
Came across a hammer
And built himself an
ark.
Along came the
animals
Two by two;
And now you know the
story
Of the Gan Yisroel
zoo.
Abraham was the first
Jew,
Was a brave and daring
kid;
Believed in only one
G-d
When no one else did.
Smashed all the idols
In his father’s shop,
And when Terah came
home,
He really blew his
top.
When King Nimrod heard
this,
He blew into a rage,
And sent his heavy
henchmen
To put him in a cage.
They threw him in a
furnace
To roast him to a
coal,
But little Abe just stood
there
Waving to them all.
Isaac was the son of
Abraham's hundredth
year.
At the Akeidah
He didn't shed a
tear.
He would have sacrificed him
Though his heart was full of
strife;
But then he didn't do
it,
'Cause he had a dairy
knife.
Esau was a hunter
In the wild woolly
West.
He roamed around the
ranch
And combed his hairy
chest
For his birthright,
He didn't really
care;
So he sold it to
Jacob
For a sandwich and a
beer.
Jacob had twelve
sons,
Each one became a
tribe.
When someone grabbed
Dinah,
They left no one
alive.
One went into
business,
One learned in his father’s
tent,
While Jacob paid a
fortune
For the groceries and the
rent.
Joseph was the apple
Of his father’s eye;
But his brother’s dumped
him
And told a little
lie.
Poor old Jacob was
Left without a hunch.
Thinking that his
favourite
Was eaten up for
lunch.
Joseph said, “This
time,
My brothers have gone too
far,
They sold me to
Potiphar.”
Then he spent
Many years in jail,
‘Till he tested Pharaoh’s
languages,
And rated him a fail.
Moses took the Jews
From Pharaoh's wicked
land;
He led them to The Promised
Land.
When he struck the
rock
There rose a mighty
cheer;
Instead of water, flowed
Schlitz malt liquor
beer.
David was a shepherd
Who saved the Jewish
race;
Goliath tumbled
over
When he looked at David’s
face.
Many were the
victories
When David was the
king,
The enemy would drop
dead
When David began to
sing.
Sisro was a general;
He wished to kill the
Jews,
But he ran away so
fast,
He nearly forgot his
shoes.
He came to Yael’s
tent
Knocking on the door,
So she O.D.’ed (over dosed) him
with cheese
And nailed him to the
floor.
Jonah was a mariner,
So goes the ancient
tale;
He took a Trans Atlantic
trip
In the belly of a
whale.
Jonah felt
claustrophobic
And very much
depressed,
So, he pushed the belly
button,
And the whale did the
rest.
Daniel was a
prisoner,
Brought before the
king;
They played twenty questions,
But couldn' t learn a
thing.
They threw him in a lions'
den
To perform a great
feat.
So, Daniel became a
dentist,
And pulled the lions'
teeth.
Samson was a mighty
man
From the New York Dodgers
school.
He killed ten thousand Yankees
With the jawbone of a
mule.
He had a brother Who was strong,
as well;
Samson went to heaven
And his brother went to....Gan
Yisroel.
(Tune of Oo Lih Leh - Chaim
Fogelman)
Please join along, sing my
song,
Moshiach is coming, and it
won’t be long,
So clap your hands, and tap
your feet,
Moshiach is coming, we’ll be
dancing in the street,
Oo lih leh, oo lih
leh,
Moshiach is
coming,
And he’s coming
today.
Ooh lih leh, oo lih
leh,
Moshiach is
coming,
And he’s coming to
stay.
It’s in the air, it’s
everywhere,
Moshiach is
coming,
Let’s break out a
cheer.
Oo lih leh . . .
(Tune of Umalchuso -
Vizhnitz)
Our ancestry stems from just
one man,
Symbolizing our
unity,
Our souls are twins, our
Father one,
Separated only
bodily.
K’Ish echod b’leiv
echod,
Yisroel encamped neged
hohor,
Receiving Torah from the
Almighty,
Whatever you
disfavor,
Keep from your
neighbor,
Is the Torah in
entirety.
Is the derech for a Jew to
follow,
Opening the doors to oisoh
oiroh,
Terminating our Golus
sorrow.
Only one wall of it
remains
The side that outlasted all the
rest
The Kossel
HaMa’aravi on the west
CHORUS:
Throughout the year every
day
Thousands of Jews at the wall do
pray
Their tearful eyes to heaven
gaze
Hoping the rest will soon be
raised
Our symbol of courage, of faith
and of hope
Giving us strength with the golus
to cope
And rousing our hopes that
bimhaira it will be
The wall of the Mikdosh
Hashlishi
CHORUS:
Throughout the year every
day…
A young boy holds
a small cupin his hands,
Reciting words he can barely understand.
But on his face,
there shines a joyful light;
He is making Kiddush Friday night.
“Father, Father, please join in with me,
Father, Father, I’m lonely, can’t you see,
Let’s daven together, that is my dream,
Viheishiv
lev avot al banim.”
A young girl holds
A candlestick, so
bright,
Preparing to light the candles,
Friday night.
Her mother is watching with tears
in her eyes,
Her daughter turns to her, and
cries:
“Mother, Mother, please join in
with me.
Mother, Mother, I'm lonely, can't
you see,
Let’s light together, that is my
dream,
Viheishiv lev
avot al banim.”
Throughout the world,
Children pure and
true,
Are teaching Torah to every
single Jew.
Their parents are learning,
And they are so
proud,
And together, they all cry out
loud:
“Father, Father, when will the
Geulah be?
Father, Father, we' re lonely,
can't you see?
Please bring Moshiach, that is
our dream,
Viheishiv lev
avot al banim.”
Puff the kosher dragon lived in
Palestine,
And frolicked in the synagogue
and drank Shapiro’s wine
Little Rabbi Goldberg loved that
kosher Puff
And fed him lots of matza balls
and other kosher stuff
Then one day it happened, Puff
was eating pork
Little Rabbi Goldberg took the
dragon for a walk
Gently he explained that dragons
don't eat meat
That comes from little piggies
that have dirty, filthy feet
Then puff became Bar mitzvah, put
on tefillin every day
Wrapped up in his tallis,
that’s the way he’d pray
Made brachos before
eating, bentched after every meal
Imagine how religious it made
that dragon feel
Now there were some people who
did some things just for spite
They'd curse Jews and attack them
just to get into a fight
When Puff the Dragon heard this,
he roared a mighty roar
And those wicked people are not
with us any more
In a far away
land
in a Kingdom so
vast
there lived a great
King
who made a great
repast
He sent for his
Queen
but she wouldn’t
come
she wouldn’t be
seen
and he was struck
dumb
in a queen we must
find
the one that was
best
it took a little
while
until they found
Ester
The Jews weren’t loved they had plenty of
foes
one was haman as everyone
knows
By the king he was
raised
up to the
sky
By all he was
praised
except by Mordechai
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
Mordechai was a great
Rabbi
he was a real cool
guy
and I’ll tell you
why
cu’s once in middle of great
strife
he had helped save the old
kings life
the court firmly did
accord
in the countries chronicles
they did record
that Mordechai had been very
brave
the great kings life he
helped save
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
Ester was from Mordechais
mishpacha
and to her he gave a
bracha
that kings love she would
infuse
so that he would not
refuse
but haman was a very wicked
man
and he devised oh a dreadful
plan
and just like our enemies of
old
one thing they favored was
lots and lots of gold
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
haman said to the king one
day
there is something that I
have to say
they just don’t fit in with
the rest
to kill them all would be the
best
Acashveirosh said if this is
the best thing to do
I’ll leave the details up to
you
just draw up a plan that
would define
and leave it here for me to
sign
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
and this haman was very
pleased
and quickly drew up what the
king decreed
the day was fixed to seal the
plots
and it was done by drawing
lots
gallows were erected in the
streets
where all the non Jews would
come and meet
the thing was 50 cubits
high
so everyone could witness
Mordechai die
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
Mordechai to Ester did
tell
remeber you are like a Jew as
well
and if you won’t
help
oy just to
say
we will find a better
way
he very soon got the queens
reply
do you think I’ll stand by
while my people die
fasting and praying tell
everyone to do
and you just watch what a
woman can do
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
that night the king just
couldn’t sleep
and wanted to be in reverie
deep
the chronicles he carefully
read
and saw how Mordechai had
once saved his head
the next day Ester asked the
king pretty please
to attend her quarters for a
feast
for I have a heartfelt
quest
that will put our marriage to
the test
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
I will come to you of
course
for my good will you have
recourse
all you got to do is like
hold out your hand
and I will give you half my
land
that evening at her the king
did attend
and presents to her he did
send
and she sang to him this
rhyme this song
and the wicked haman sang
along
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
yo king be a real lekker
oke
and the evil decree please
revoke
for a wicked man has set his
will
and all my people he wants to
kill
who is this man the king
asked her
it is the wicked haman
sitting over there
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
don’t worry my dear his time
is nigh
he will soon be swinging on
gallows high
and very soon the deed was
done
not only haman but his ten
sons
and now my king could you
annul your decree
I’m very sorry that just can
not be
for no matter how deeply I
feel
I can not revoke my royal
seal
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
but please don’t weep I have
a plan
that will foil the scam of
that wicked man
those that for your blood do
thirst
go make sure that you kill
them first
and in accord with the kings
voicing
all the Jews were soon
rejoicing
and very much Tzedakah the
Jews did give
for now they were sure that
they all could live
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
the Jews had cause to
celebrate
cause this here delivery was
oh so great
Mordechai they all were for
him
and called this festival
PURIM
purim was a word they really
heard
cause it was a Persian
word
in Persian purim means
lots
that haman drew to make his
plot
Chorus
Yo purim is
here
it’s the time of the
year
say L’chaim on
whisky
yo pass the
beer
School
has begun, the teacher’s aware,
Changes
have appeared,
Zalmy
could you please explain,
What
has made this drastic change.
Your
interest in learning, Davvening out loud,
Involvement
in class, it makes me so proud.
Zalmy
please tell me, how you became,
A
Chassidishe Bochur, you’re just not the same.
The
answer, dear teacher, I’ll say in two words,
GAN
YISROEL.
The
inspiration remains with me,
GAN
YISROEL.
Shabbos
Farbrengens, reciting Yechi,
Chayus
in Shul, instilling in me,
The
feeling that Moshiach is here,
Gan
Yisroel has made it so clear.
Rebbe
I thank you for a summer so dear,
GAN
YISROEL.
You
are Moshiach, it’s so very clear,
FROM
GAN YISROEL.
Shabbos
Farbrengens, reciting Yechi,
Chayus
in Shul, instilling in me,
The
feeling that Moshiach is here,
Again,
I thank you for a summer so dear.
(Tune of Kol
Dodi)
Sitting in the darkness, a young boy in
despair,
He does not see his father
anywhere.
What will be, where will I go,
Without my father, I’m all alone.
The boy is unaware, that his father is right
there,
But his father’s words echo in his
mind,
After contemplation he comes to his
senses,
“Tatte, I know you’re alive.”
Yechi Adonainu Morainu Verabainu,
Melech HaMoshiach Le’olam Vo’ed.
(x2)
The father is Moshiach, His children we
are,
Why can’t we see him, why is it so
dark,
By learning His Sichos, we’ll come to
perceive,
That Melech HaMoshiach did not
leave.
The Rebbe is alive, Geulah is here,
If we open up our eyes, we’ll see this very
clear,
Learning Inyonai Moshiach is the only
way,
To live with Moshiach each and every
day.
We’re learning the Sichos, opening our
eyes,
We’re learning the Sichos and we
realise,
That Moshiach has already come,
The Avodah is done.
)Tune
of Ani Ma’amin - D’Veikus)
Sitting
on a wooden bench,
My
good friend at my side,
Discussing
our summer that has passed,
We
spoke about all of the fun,
And
- the - trips that we did have,
And
how we wished that we were back in
camp.
Just
- then something deep down inside me,
Cried,
that is not all,
Camp
has - given - me much more than just fun,
There
are no words that can explain it,
It’s
so very deep,
It’s
something that I will forever
keep.
I
remember the Teffilos vividly,
Pronouncing
every word so carefully,
Then
we would stand,
Our
Rebbe we would face,
Thinking
of all the good we’ve done
We
pronounce all as one,
Yechi
Adonainu, with our Rebbe we belong.
And
now in 770,
As I stand - before, the Rebbe our
King,
I
realise how my life has been changed,
From
this summer I did gain,
Forever
it will
remain,
Oh
Camp Gan Yisroel,
Next
year with you
again.
I remember . . .
Snuggled by the fireplace
One lonely winter night
Skimming through fond memories
Of good times as a child
The fire melts away the years
As I find myself once more
Sitting by a fire,
But this time I’m not alone
My counselor is sitting beside me
My bunkmates are sitting nearby
With heartfelt concern he speaks to
me
He words that changed my life
How it pains my heart to realize
that
Those times are forever gone
Oh, where would I be
If you hadn’t come my way
Yeshivas Kayitz Y2K
(Tune of Someday -
MBD)
They learned in a dark,
frigid cellar,
Alone, just a small group of
men,
When in rushed the soldiers,
and led them all away,
The flame of Torah flickered
on that day.
So many tears, so much
sorrow,
The pain has lasted thousands
of years,
But soon we’ll stop crying,
the cruelty will end,
And Melech HaMoshiach will
descend.
Chorus:
Someday, we will all be
together,
Someday, we’ll be sheltered
and warm,
Never will we have to,
express any fear,
Our scars and our wounds will
disappear.
Avrohom and Yitzchok will be
there to greet us,
Ya’akov and his sons will
stand by and smile,
Moshe Rabeinu will lead us
once again,
In Yerushalayim, B’ezras
Hashem.
We learn every day, and we
Davven,
We ask Hashem, please bring
those old times back,
I know that He’s listening,
He always does, it’s true,
For I’ve received a promise,
and so have you.
That Hashem will lead us, out
of Golus,
It won’t be to much longer, I
know,
And then, together we will Davven, together we will
sing,
And praise and thank Hashem
for everything.
Chorus
By the seashore a young boy does
stand
He waves high, the flag in his hand
His efforts to signal a ship seemed to all to be a
waste
Against the vast empty ocean he
faced.
He attracts the attention of each
passerby
As they look at the flag waving
high
Can’t you see little boy you’re alone in your
plight
As you signal with nothing in sight
Yet steadfast to his mission his faith never
waned
As the ship arrived the young boy
explained
I knew that the ship would return here to see
me
For the captain is my father you
see
Our mission is clear Moshiach is
near
For the Hisgalus of the Rebbe we continue to
prepare
Though we’re challenged and we struggle it’s a battle we’ll have
won
For our captain won’t forget his loyal
son
So let’s carry our banner and wave it with
pride
As we search the horizon with each passing
tide
As the ship comes to shore our Yechi we’ll
extend
Melech HaMoshiach will descend
Standing
in line, deep in thought,
Reliving
a summer, he’ll never forget,
Those
two weeks that he did spend,
To
him so much they meant.
Starting
with the Bracha he received,
From
the Rebbe before he did leave,
In
camp with the Rebbe living always,
By
Yechi’s and Bentching each day.
Those
farbrengens we had,
The
hachlotos we made,
The
songs that we sang,
In
he heart will always remain.
As
he passes the Rebbe,
His
voice chokes with tears,
Rebbe,
oy Rebbe,
Thank you for a summer so
dear.
Standing
proud at the finish line,
Not
one soldier left behind,
Every
trooper holding strong,
Singing
Geulah song,
Singing
Victory song.
Rebbe,
you’ve trained us all the way,
To
live Moshiach every day,
Golus
is through,
äâéò
æîï âàåìúëí,
It’s
up to you and me.
(Tune of Yedid Nefesh A. Fried)
Standing side by
side
Each unaware that the other is
there
Whispering a silent
prayer
(Staff-)
Dear Rebbe I want you to
see
The children you entrusted to
me
Each one a jewel so precious and
rare
You have placed into my
care
To live with you every
moment
Is the message I've tried to
impart
To bring you lematah,
together with us
Each of us doing our
part
Now Rebbe the summer is
over
Now that my shlichus is
through
I ask that the spirit of Gan
Yisroel
Continue in all that they
do
(Campers-)
Dear Rebbe I'd like you to
see
How much Gan Yisroel changed
me
I'm closer to you than ever
before
Connected
forevermore
My counselor your shilach
inspired me
With true dedication and
love
His friendship I'll treasure
forever
How can I thank him
enough
Oy Rebbe your Gan
Yisroel
Will always find place in my
heart
It's chayus and warmth
will remain with me
It's lessons I'll treasure and
guard
(Together-)
As the crowd at the Ohel
does grow
Mendele turns to
go
As he leaves he sees a familiar
face
Camper and counselor
embrace
Goodbye, Gan
Yisroel
Farewell to those wonderful
times
Your memories will always be part
of me
The little bird is calling,
It wishes to return.
The little bird is wounded,
It cannot fly, but yearns.
It’s captured by the vultures,
It’s crying bitterly,
“Oh, to see my nest again,
Oh, to be redeemed.”
This little bird of silver,
So delicate and rare,
Still chirps among the vultures,
Outshining all that’s there.
How long, how long it suffers!
How long will it be?
When will come the eagle,
And set the little bird free?
The little bird is Israel,
The vultures are our foes.
The painful wound is Galus,
Which we all feel and know.
The nest is Yerushalayim,
Where we yearn to be once more,
And the eagle is Moshiach,
Whom we are waiting for.
The Lubavitcher
twist,
It goes like
this,
The Lubavitcher
twist,
It goes like
this,
The Lubavitcher
twist.
Swing those gartels round and
round,
Say korim umish’tachavim, hit
the ground,
Throw your streimel way up
high,
Learn Torah till you reach
the sky,
We’ll do the
twist.
The Lubavitcher twist . .
.
On my wall hangs a picture of the
Rebbe
His presence guides me all the
time
Every dear word that the Rebbe
did say
Is etched in my heart and my
mind
Hearing that the Rebbe was
coming
I started to run
eagerly
Nothing else mattered to me any
more
The Rebbe I had to
see
To be a chosid I
strive
To the Rebbe
mekushar
To give over my
life
To the Rebbe’s
avodah
I yearn to be close, my heart and
my soul
A connection to the Rebbe I
hold
Though now we don't
see
The Rebbe
lematah
In a guf
physically
The work’s so much
harder
But a talmid I am, his
Torah I learn
While I eagerly await his
return
In the post Talmudic age,
Lived a scholar and a sage
Rabeinu Moshe Ben Maimon was his name
Wise in so many things
A physician to kings
A philosopher, the Rambam of great
fame
MiMoshe ad Moshe
Lokum Kimoshe
A teacher and a leader strong
MiMoshe ad Moshe
Lo kum Kimoshe
To teach our nation right from
wrong
As a great authority
And with great care and clarity
The Rambam wrote his Yad Hachazokoh
In his work he clearly lists
Of what Jewish law consists
Helping Yidden to keep HaShem’s
Torah
Now the Rebbe today
Has suggested a good way
For Jews around the world to be as
one
Study the Rambams’ laws
Throughout the globe, corners four
And help Moshiach speedily to
come
Chorus
Now in countries far and near
You can clearly see and hear
People learning Rambam every single
day
The same section of Torah
From the Yad Hachazokoh
Bringing unity in yet another way
Chorus
A Russian boys’ hopeless plight
Dreariness fills his night
Hardship and pain befell him
His chance of survival is slim
Finding no source of true comfort
To the Rebbe he turns with a letter
Compelled to express to him
How life could have been so much
better
The boy did not beg for an easier
life
Nor of a hope to be free
Vos Zol Ich Ton, Az es
Davent Zich Nit
That was the Russian boys, plea
As the Rebbe spoke at Farbrengen
The Chassidim gazed on in surprise
The Rebbe choked with emotion
And tears streamed form his eyes
(Tune
of Yonah Matz’ah - London School)
The
snowdrifts have settled, the night sky so clear,
A
heart-warming melody fill up the air,
The
Sefer he studies, so precious to him,
Melting
the coldness from within.
At
daytime a hardworking father, alone,
With
hardships of living and building a home,
The
learning he longs for the whole day, he finds,
Confused
by the troublesome mind.
Silently
crying, he clings to a dream,
How
he longs for the times of Moshiach,
ôðåééï
áúåøä, he sings,
To
bask in the kedusha that it brings.
Hopefully
sighing, he knows that one day,
He
will learn in the house of Moshiach,
Leaving
his troubles behind,
At
last, time for learning he will find.
My heart just has to
cry
With Torah and
Mitzvos
And fun time
too
Why must it be
true
I have to go from Gan
Yisroel
Soon we’ll be hearing the
bell
And then I will
shake
My counselors
hand
Oh Gan Yisroel, why must you
end
My counselor he takes me
aside
Speaks to me as be
cries
Oh Levi remember what I taught
you
It will help you become a better
Jew
Now I feel stronger for now I can
see
Gan Yisroel you’re a part of
me
My counselor he takes me
aside.
Speaks to me as he
cries
Oh Levi remember what I taught
you
It will help you became a better
Jew
Now I feel stronger for now I can
see
Gan Yisroel you’re a part of
me
(Tune of Tie Me Kangaroo
Down)
CHORUS:
Tie me Yetzer Hora
down, chief
Tie me Yetzer Hora

We don’t want to come to grief,

So, tie me Yetzer
Hora down

Look forward to the time to come,

Look forward to the time to

We want Moshiach now,
Mal
We’ll all together be
one
To David my dearest
friend,
This letter with joy I
send,
Our friendship and ways will
just have to change,
It’s direction please let me
explain.
I thought that a summer meant
fun,
Swimming and sports in the
sun,
I never expected this summer
to be,
Such a change of direction
for me.
In the way that I learn, in
the way that I play,
In the way I treat friends,
in the things that I say,
In all that I do, you could
clearly see,
I’m a Chossid, and the Rebbe
is right beside me.
Like a soldier I wake, like a
soldier I pray,
The Rebbe’s great Chayos,
pulls me through the day,
For the rest of my life, a
soldier I’ll be,
The way that my counselor and
teachers taught me.
With oceans of ink, and
mountains of paper,
And all the time in the world
to write,
I could not express the depth
of those changes,
This summer has made in my
life.
Just the same as
you
Is the basis of our holy
Torah
He may be far from
me
Across the widest
sea
Still I’ll always love him just
the same
For seventy, eighty
years
A neshama wears and
tears
Just to do a favour for
another
Love him with all your
heart
The heavens spread
apart
For every Jew is really our
brother
Two
brothers together, walking hand in hand,
They
talk about redemption, and of the promised land,
Their
hearts flow with happiness, their minds carefree and
light,
They
raise their voice in unison, and sing into the night.
Oh
Moshiach’s coming soon, we’ve waited for so long,
When
our Rebbe will ascend his throne, and lead us all in song,
When
our loved one’s who have passed away, will be with us once
more,
When
Moshiach our Nassi will teach us as before.
They
walked passed the city houses and passed the ripened
field,
They
don’t hear the Arab soldier telling them to yield,
Thunder
crashes in the mountains and rain begins to pour,
The
Arab sentry fires, now brother is no more.
Oh
Moshiach’s coming soon, we’ve waited for so long,
Oh
when will you ascend your throne, and lead us all in song,
When
our loved one’s who have passed away, will be with us once
more,
When
our own Eretz Yisroel will be ours as before.
A
loud voice in the distance, a horn blows loud and clear,
He
lifts his head in wonder, and wipes away a tear,
A
majestic man approaches amongst thousands of men,
He
hears a voice behind him - Brothers back again.
Oh
Moshiach’s finally here - we’ve waited for so long,
When
our Rebbe will ascend his throne, and lead us all in song,
When
our loved one’s who have passed away, are with us once
more,
When
Moshiach our Nassi will teach us as before.
(Tune of Kol
Rinah)
Wake up Yidden
From the dream of Golus
Get ready to greet
Moshiach Tzidkeinu
Geulah is coming
Swiftly towards us
Henei Zeh Oimed
Achar Kosleinu
There will be no more war
No more will lions roar
Within a Mikdosh built of flame
We’ll give thanks to his name
And March to Geulah
With the Rebbe Shlita
Everyone let me hear you
shout
On the top of your
lungs:
Whom we been waiting
for?
Dem Moshiach
Man!
And when do we want
him?
Straight
away!
When?
Straight

Dat’s right, I know
dat!
Now everybody come follow me and

Waiting for so long

Two thousand

Waiting for so long

Everything will be nice and

Don’t you know the main thing of
all
We got to have peace in the
Middle East

the west
Shalom in the north and Shalom in
the south
Come on now, come on

And with every

That we do so

To the Mikdash
Hashlishi
(Tune
of Harninu Goyim)
Elter
Chassidim:
We’re
here at farbrengen,
çñéãéí
àéï àééðòí,
Over
the years oh, how much we’ve seen,
Yet
what can compare to a vision so clear,
The
energy of ãåø
äùáéòé .
Bochurim:
Here
in áéú
çééðå the feeling is àùøéðå,
îáöòéí’s our stuff, in äåøàåú we ÷àê,
"÷òø à ååòìè äééðè" is ôùåè on our minds,
We’re
living with the Rebbe all the time.
Crowd:
Here
in 770 we came to see the Rebbe,
Our
views are as wide as the world outside,
But
where can we find a leader true and kind,
Instilling
me with joy and Jewish pride.
Children:
From
every one here we kids get special care,
I
turn around and see a smile just for me,
We
stand in command for our mission at hand,
Hey
- you thought we didn’t understand!
Chorus:
ìçééí
øáé, ìçééí åìáøëä,
I’ll
do my best to do what’s right, and bring the Geulah,
Soon
the world will join in harmony,
Farbrengen
in the î÷ãù
äùìéùé.
Farbrengen
is a special time,
Bringing
us together,
We’re
all çñéãéí
with one
Rebbe,
A strength that can’t be
measured.
(Tune of V’chol
Ma’aminim)
We’ve existed so
long,
For the Torah kept us
strong,
And the Torah will never
disappear - oh, no!
Through the ages, it was
brought,
By the children who were
taught,
To follow it and constantly
declare.
I’m a Jew and I’m
proud,
And I’ll sing it out
loud,
‘Cause forever that’s what
I’ll be.
I’m a Jew and I’m
proud,
And it’s without a
doubt,
That Hashem is always
watching over me.
(Tune of V’chol
Ma’aminim)
We’ve existed so
long,
‘Cause our Emunah kept us
strong,
That Moshiach is coming any
day.
Through the ages, we have
known,
That he’ll come, and take us
home,
Ani Ma’amin Be’Moshiach, we
would say.
Now, the Rebbe has
assured,
The time is here, at
last,
äâéò æîï
âàåìúéðå,
So, together we must
come,
And prepare ourselves, as
one,
To greet Moshiach
Tzidkeinu.
(Tune of Oh, Moshiach - Tzlil
V’zemer)
What can we do that will help bring
Moshiach
We do our Mitzvos without delay
And what will happen f we do them quite
proper
Then we’ll have the Geulah today
Oh Moshiach how we want you now
How long for you must we wait
Oh Moshiach how we want you now
When you come it will be great
Every Jew, child and elders
together
Work hard and keep up the Bren
Just like we do, yes us kids in the
army
The Army of Tzivos Hashem
Chorus
(Tune of Hiney
Kachomer)
The winds, they howl, they
gasp, they growl,
Blowing through each
crack,
People rush about the
dark,
Not knowing what they
lack,
Only inside by candle light
soft,
The Shabbos glow, lifts the
Jew aloft,
And as a sign, two Challos
and wine,
And praise to Hashem, who makes us
divine.
Chorus:
When oh when will every
Jew,
See those candle lights
shine,
When oh when will every
Jew,
Taste the sweet Shabbos
wine,
When oh when will Moshiach
come,
We sing from our hearts, oy
yum biddy bum,
Yum biddy bum, oy yum biddy
bum,
We sing of the time, Moshiach
will come.
One, Shabbos flames will
be,
Kindled far and
wide,
Every Jew will then want
to,
Greet the Shabbos
bride,
And by the gleam of candle
light soft,
The Shabbos glow lifts a Jew
aloft,
And as a sign, two Challos
and wine,
And praise to Hashem who
makes us divine.
Chorus
(Tune of Niggun Shabbos Ve’Yom Tov - Niggun
#96)
A tear runs down from his
cheek,
Oh Hashem, it’s another
week,
Shabbos is passing, the Rebbe
did not speak.
Days, weeks, then months goes
by,
How long must your children
cry,
Beseeching, demanding, Ad
Mosai, it’s enough.
Chorus:
Where is that hand, to which
millions do come,
Where is that voice, that
unites us all as one,
Our hearts pouring out, as we
scream to Hashem,
The Rebbe zol gezunt zein,
and be with us again.
On Sunday a man
arrives,
With hope in his troubled
eyes,
Excuse me, please help me,
the Rebbe’s help I seek,
I’ve comes to the Rebbe’s
door,
His brocho I need once
more,
unanswered he lifts his eyes
and desperately he cries.
Chorus
I know one!
One is
Hashem
In the heavens and the
earth
Oo-ah,
ooh-ah-ah
Oo-ah,
ooh-ah-ah
Who knows
two?
I know two!
Two are the luchos that
Moshe brought
And one is
Hashem
In the heavens and the
earth
Three are the
fathers…
Four are the
mothers…
Five are the books of the Torah…
Six are the books of the
Mishna…
Seven are the days off the
week…
Eight are the days before a
bris…
Nine are the months before a
baby's born...
Ten are the Aseres
hadibros…
Eleven are the stars in Yosef’s
dream...
Twelve are the tribes of
Yisroel…
Thirteen are the attributes of
Hashem…
Fourteen are the books of the
Rambam…
(Tune of Ani Ma’amin -
JEP)
With a Tehillim he sat through the
night
Pondering deeply into his plight
The Rebbes’ image in front of his
eyes
Oh where is Moshiach he cries
Three times a day we would have the great
Zechus
The Nossi Hador would come Daven with
us
How can I live when a Shabbos goes
by
Without a Farbrengen he cries
Oh Rebbe! Oh Rebbe! We need you
Hashem, Hashem, Keil Rachum
We’re sick of this Golus can’t bear any
more
Why can’t you open the door
You’re children are yearning to be with
you
How long can this torture continue
Bring the Geulah, fulfilling your
vow
To bring Moshiach right now.
